Our daughter, Emily has been riding at Pinkmead since December, she had her first lesson on Christmas Eve after many months of asking for lessons. She was only 5 years old when she started and I was a little apprehensive about it as she looked so small on some of the ponies! All of the staff are friendly, knowledgable and really care about what they are doing, that shows in how well looked after the ponies and horses are. Emily had two teachers before Boo took over teaching her level (level one) and what an amazing impact this has had on Emily's progress and confidence. Boo is patient and really knows how to get the best out of people, her firm but nurturing approach with praise that is energetic and meaningful has enabled Emily to excel and reach level two quickly. Boo has made a lasting impression on Emily, who really looks forward to seeing her every week and really takes on board all of the tips Boo gives her, practising them at home. Boo is approachable and always happy to answer any questions I've had, taking time to provide reassurances. Boo also takes an interest in who Emily is as a person, not seeing her as another pupil but as an individual which means so much. It really is the teacher that makes all the difference and we are so thankful that Boo is Emily's, not only is she amazing but we feel confident that Emily is in the safest on hands when riding under Boo's instruction and really cannot thank her enough for nurturing and growing Emily's love for horses. Boo is a very special person and we hope she gets to see this.
